Existing law provides for the regulation of barbering in certain counties

This bill would provide for the regulation of barbering and prohibit certain practices relating to barbering

This bill would exemption certain individuals from the regulation of barbering

This bill would establish a barber board and provide for its membership, powers, and duties

This bill would provide for the procedure to license barbers

This bill would provide for reciprocity

This bill would provide for the procedure to apply for a barber shop license and related businesses

This bill would provide for license renewal

This bill would provide for certain fees

This bill would provide for disciplinary action

This bill would provide for injunctive relief

This bill would provide for the transition of the current board

This bill would provide for the repeal of Chapter 5 of Title 34 (commencing with Section 34-5-1), Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the Alabama Board of Barber Examiners and the regulation of barbers

Relating to barbering; to provide for the regulation of barbering; to prohibit certain practices relating to barbering; to exempt certain individuals from the regulation of the practice of barbering; to establish a barber board and provide for its membership, powers, and duties; to provide for the procedure to license barbers; to provide for reciprocity; to provide for the procedure to apply for a barber shop license and related businesses; to provide for license renewal; to provide for certain fees; to provide for disciplinary action; to provide for injunctive relief; to provide for the transition of the current board; and to provide for the repeal of Chapter 5 of Title 34 (commencing with Section 34-5-1), Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the Alabama Board of Barber Examiners and the regulation of barbers, and to provide the board is an enumerated agency pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law.
