- Description
Under existing law, the Alabama Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board is responsible for enforcing state and federal statutes related to the liquefied petroleum gas industry throughout the state.

This bill would delete the requirement that the administrator file an official bond with the Secretary of State before beginning employment.
This bill would authorize the board to issue uniform nontraffic citations, in lieu of uniform traffic citations, relating to the transportation of liquefied petroleum gas.
This bill would delete the requirement that every applicant for a Class A permit provide the board with proof from a reputable LP gas supplier of gases sufficient to supply the customers of the applicant.
This bill would provide further for a Class F permit, would delete reference to temporary permits, would delete antiquated language, would revise the minimum requirements for commercial general liability and automobile liability insurance coverage of applicants, would delete reference to the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board Personal Bond Fund, would require all LP-gas delivery cargo vehicles to be appropriately marked, would change the date on which fees for Class F and Class F-1 permits are due from January 1 to July 1, and would delete language providing for a refund of certain fees when a permit holder sells gas to an end user who is outside of the state.
This bill would delete the language providing for the ability of an entity to act as an agent for duties already provided for under an existing permit.
