- State employees, Chief Executive Officer of the State Employees Insurance Board may approve group insurance offerings
- Description
Under existing law, the Comptroller is required to adopt policies providing for state employee salary deductions to appropriate companies, associations, or organizations, when the deduction is requested by a group of 200 or more state employees.
This bill would authorize the Comptroller to approve the offering of group insurance products by insurance carriers that have been approved under existing law.
