Title

Motor vehicles, firefighter distinctive tag, additional fee, distrib. to Firefighters Annuity and Benefit Fund, Sec. 32-6-272 am'd.

Description

Under existing law, a firefighter, including a current member or a retired member of a paid, part-paid, or volunteer fire department, may obtain a firefighter tag upon payment of the regular license fee. By separate law, an active volunteer firefighter is exempt from the fee for one tag.

This bill would provide for an additional fee of $5 for each firefighter tag to be distributed to the Fire Fighters Annuity and Benefit Fund.
