Title

Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, the Highway
Beautification Act-Outdoor Advertising, outdoor
advertising is regulated along federal primary
highways in this state by the State Department of
Transportation and enforced by the department and
the Director of Transportation</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would authorize a municipality to
enforce the law in the corporate limits of the
municipality</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To amend Section 23-1-278 of the Code of Alabama
1975, relating to the enforcement of the Highway
Beautification Act-Outdoor Advertising, regulating outdoor
advertising along federal primary highways in the state, to
authorize municipalities to enforce the law in the corporate
limits of the municipality.
