Title
Motor vehicle, distinctive license plates, professional firefighters, add'l fee, distribution to Ala. Firefighter Annuity and Benefit Fund, Sec. 32-6-280 am'd.
Description
<p class="bill_description"> Existing law provides for a professional firefighter distinctive license plate</p><p class="bill_description"> This bill would provide for an additional annual fee of five dollars ($5) for the issuance of distinctive firefighter motor vehicle license plates. This bill would provide that the fee would be deposited into a fund managed by the Alabama Firefighter Annuity and Benefit Fund and used for the purpose of investing for the growth of the fund to enhance benefits</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to the professional firefighter distinctive license plate; to amend Section 32-6-280 of the Code of Alabama 1975; to provide for an additional annual fee; and to provide for the distribution of the fee. </p>
