Motor vehicle, distinctive license plates, professional firefighters, add'l fee, distribution to Ala. Firefighter Annuity and Benefit Fund, Sec. 32-6-280 am'd.
Description

Existing law provides for a professional firefighter distinctive license plate

This bill would provide for an additional annual fee of five dollars ($5) for the issuance of distinctive firefighter motor vehicle license plates. This bill would provide that the fee would be deposited into a fund managed by the Alabama Firefighter Annuity and Benefit Fund and used for the purpose of investing for the growth of the fund to enhance benefits

Relating to the professional firefighter distinctive license plate; to amend Section 32-6-280 of the Code of Alabama 1975; to provide for an additional annual fee; and to provide for the distribution of the fee.
