Title
Medicaid, liens and claims against recipient and recipient's estate authorized
Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing federal law, the state
Medicaid Agency may establish procedures by which
the agency may recover the amount of medical
assistance payments made to a recipient by placing
a lien on the real or personal property of the
recipient or by filing a claim against the estate
of a recipient</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would establish procedures by
which the state Medicaid Agency could place a lien
on the real or personal property of a recipient or
file a claim against the estate of a deceased
recipient</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To establish procedures by which the state Medicaid
