- Taxation, Revenue Dept., sales tax, to discontinue the discount applicable to sales tax, Sec. 40-23-36 am'd.
- Description
Under existing law, the Governor has by executive order authorized the Department of Revenue to allow a discount to sales tax license holders who timely file and pay their sales tax.
This bill eliminates the sales tax discount for taxes collected on or after September 1, 2020.
