Tuscaloosa County, special fund to be used to match federal funds for eastern bypass, constitutional amendment

Description

This bill would propose an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 2022, relating to Tuscaloosa County, to provide for the establishment of a special fund maintained by the Tuscaloosa County Road Improvement Commission funded by contributions from the Tuscaloosa County Commission, the Tuscaloosa City Council, and the Northport City Council to be used solely for the purpose of matching federal funds to be used for the purpose of funding the completion of the eastern bypass around the City of Tuscaloosa and the City of Northport.
