- Alabama Fire College; Add new seat to commission.
- Description
Existing law provides for seven members to sit on the Alabama Firefighters' Personnel Standards and Education Commission.
This bill would increase the membership of the commission to eight, by providing for the appointment of an individual who is a volunteer firefighter by the Presiding Officer of the Senate.
This bill would also make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
