- Description
Under existing law, the Governor is authorized to appoint an individual to fill a vacancy in the office of Attorney General, State Auditor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries.
This bill would propose an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 2022, to authorize the Governor to fill a vacancy in the office of Lieutenant Governor.
