- Alabama Emergency Management Agency; authorize to spend public funds on promotional materials
- Description
Under existing law, the Director of the Alabama Emergency Management Agency is authorized to spend public monies to carry out the emergency preparedness and emergency response functions of the agency.
This bill would specify that this authorization extends to the purchase from public funds of promotional and educational materials that further public awareness of the agency and emergency preparedness.
This bill would also delete duplicative language and make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
