House Transportation, Utilities and Infrastructure Hearing
Room 123 at 12:00:00
Under existing law, municipalities may not subject electric suppliers to certain fees or charges in connection with the granting of consent to use public streets and places.
This bill would prohibit municipalities from subjecting any natural or manufactured gas utility to certain fees or charges in connection with the granting of consent to use public streets and places.
This bill would also make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
