With an unwavering commitment to elevating our country to new heights, Dr. Larry DiChiara will be a strong advocate for limited government and personal freedom. Leading the charge to expand tax cuts and reduce wasteful spending, Larry will champion low taxes, less government intrusion, and greater fiscal responsibility.

A product of the American Dream, Larry has a record of being a principled conservative with a passion for faith, family, and life. As a father, husband, passionate educator, successful small-business owner, and faith-driven conservative, Larry shares our values and has the experience necessary to be more than just another vote in Washington, D.C.

Early in life, Larry learned that hard work and determination are critical to achieving success. His experience does not come from a career in politics, and his solutions cannot be summarized in catchy, 10-second sound bites. Larry understands that our problems are real and deserve real solutions.

A graduate of Auburn University, Larry began teaching special education in 1981 before earning his master’s degree and later his doctoral degree in educational leadership. Understanding the importance of education, Larry has served as a teacher, principal, administrator, district superintendent, and adjunct college professor.

In 1988 and 1989, Larry led the Loachapoka High School Indians to win the state championship for varsity boys’ basketball.

Earning the respect of his peers, Larry was named Alabama’s Superintendent of the Year in 2012.

Larry now hopes to take his experience and record of proven performance to Washington, D.C., to create positive and effective change for Alabamians in the 3rd District.

Larry and his wife Gina are the proud parents of three boys, Nicholas (23), Samuel (20), and Anthony (15). Residing in Auburn, Alabama, Larry and his family worship at St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
