Sharon McSwain-Holland is the wife of Michael Holland and mother of Deizah Holland, and the late Larance McSwain. She is a Christian and active member of the New Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Troy, AL. She is a graduate of Charles Henderson High School Class of 1985. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Troy State University. She is retired from the Alabama Department of Corrections, where she diligently served for over 27 years rising through the ranks of Correctional Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and Warden.
