- Engineers and Land Surveyors, State Board of Licensure for Professional, appointees to board required to be licensed as either an engineer or a land surveyor, but not both, Sec. 34-11-31 am'd.
- Description
Under existing law, the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors consists of five professional engineers and two professional land surveyors.
This bill would clarify that only a licensed professional engineer or a licensed professional land surveyor, who exclusively holds an unexpired certificate to practice as a licensed professional engineer or an unexpired certificate to practice as a licensed professional land surveyor, respectively, may be appointed to the board.
