Paid political advertising, identification to include electronic campaign telephone callings, Sec. 17-5-12 am'd.
Description

Currently, a paid political advertisement must be clearly identified as a paid advertisement and give the identification of the person or committee that paid for the advertisement

This bill would include telephone callings made for the purposes of influencing the vote of the recipient of the call within the requirement for identification

To amend Section 17-5-12, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the identification of paid political advertising, to include campaign telephone callings within the requirement for identification.
