Bill Summary
This bill would allow the Board of Trustees of Auburn University, the executive committee of the board of trustees, or any other committee established by the board of trustees to participate in meetings by telephone conference or video conference if notice of the meetings is given pursuant to the Open Meetings Act and the members of the public are given the opportunity to simultaneously listen to or observe such meetings.
To amend Section 16-48-7, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to meetings of the Board of Trustees of Auburn University, to allow the board, the executive committee of the board of trustees, or any other committee established by the board of trustees to participate in meetings by telephone conference or video conference if notice of the meetings is given pursuant to the Open Meetings Act and the members of the public are given the opportunity to simultaneously listen to or observe such meetings.
