Bill Summary
Currently, the Alabama Music Hall of Fame Board consists of seven members appointed by the Governor, four from the Muscle Shoals Music Association, and three from the state at large
This bill would terminate the current board membership and provide that the Music Hall of Fame Board would consist of seven members as follows: Two appointed by the Director of the Alabama Tourism Department; two appointed by the Director of the Alabama Mountain Lakes Association; and three additional members appointed jointly by the originally appointed board members
Relating to the membership of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame Board; to amend Section 41-9-680, Code of Alabama 1975, to change the current membership of the board; to provide for terms of service; and to provide for the annual election of a secretary and a treasurer.
