- Port authorities, counties and municipalities, bond issuance, publication of notices regarding, civil actions required to be filed within a certain time thereafter, Sec. 11-94-10 am'd.
- Description
Under existing law, counties and municipalities may incorporate port authorities which are authorized to issue bonds to finance port facilities and projects related thereto.
This bill would authorize a port authority to publish a notice in a newspaper published in each county within its operational area for two insertions and on the Internet website of any newspaper having an Internet website when the authority will issue bonds. Any challenge to the issuance of the bonds would thereafter be required to be filed within 20 days of the first publication of this notice.
