Title: Exceptional children, children with individualized education program (IEP) may be transferred between schools and school systems, Sec. 16-39-8.1 added; Sec. 16-39-8 am'd.
Description: This bill would allow the parents or legal guardian of a child who has an individualized education program (IEP) to transfer the child from one public school or school district to any other public school or school district in the state.
This bill would also require the prompt transfer of the child's records between schools.
