Title
Motor Vehicles, "Heart of Dixie" replaced with "State of Champions", authorized on certain license plates, Sec. 32-6-54, 32-6-54.1 am'd
Description

Under existing law, motor vehicle license tags issued by the state are generally required to have a heart and the words "Heart of Dixie" imprinted on the tag. Organizations sponsoring a personalized, distinctive, or vanity license tag may request the Department of Revenue not to place the words "Heart of Dixie" on the organization's tag

This bill would replace the heart and words "Heart of Dixie" with "State of Champions" on motor vehicle license tags issued by the state

To amend Sections 32-6-54 and 32-6-54.1, Code of Alabama 1975, to replace the heart and words "Heart of Dixie" with "State of Champions" on certain motor vehicle license tags issued by the state.
