County jails, grand jury to review inspection reports, presentation of certain findings to county commission, sheriffs, and district attorney, Sec. 12-16-191 am'd (2012-20241)
Description

Under existing law, the grand jury is required to make a personal inspection of the condition of the county jail since the last session of court. The number of sessions of the grand jury varies from county to county.

This bill would require the grand jury to conduct a minimum of two inspections of the county jail per year.
