- Title
- Motor vehicles, self-propelled camper, house car, recreational vehicle, annual registration fee, exception, Sec. 40-12-248 am'd.
- Description
Under existing law, registration fees are specifically delineated for recreational vehicles weighing up to 42,000 pounds. The registration fee for any recreational vehicle weighing over that amount is based on the schedule for trucks or truck tractors.
This bill would create specific registration fees for recreational vehicles weighing more than 42,000 pounds by adding new weight categories of recreational vehicles and corresponding registration fees and would reduce the fee for the immediately preceding weight classification.
This bill also would exempt one recreational vehicle per person from the additional fee amounts set forth in the fee schedule for recreational vehicles.
