Title
Class 2 municipality, one-call notification system for excavation or digging, exempt, Sec.37-15-2 am'd
Description

Under existing law, a person excavating on property is required to notify the "one-call notification system" before digging on the property. The State Department of Transportation, any county, and excavations by railroads are exempt from this law.

This bill would exempt any Class municipality from the law.

Relating to Class 2 municipalities; to amend Section 37-15-2, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the one-call notification system; to provide that the provisions of this law would not apply to any Class 2 municipality or its officials, employees, agents, or representatives.
