Under existing law, the Governor, the Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, and the Director of Finance are authorized to establish the Garrett Coliseum Redevelopment Corporation, which would have the power to issue certain bonds for the renovation, reconstruction, improvement, alteration, and equipping of the coliseum.
This bill would authorize the Agriculture Center Board, the corporation, or any other entity managing the coliseum to buy into the state's umbrella insurance policy for coverage of the coliseum.
