It adds a $30 fee for each marriage license and each petition for adoption filed in the Calhoun County Probate Court, collected at the time of filing. After deducting a $10 administrative fee, the money is split: $5 to the judge of probate for office operations, $5 to the Calhoun County Commission for capital improvements, and $20 to the Calhoun County Commission to fund the Calhoun/Cleburne Children's Center. The Children's Center must report annual expenditures and present a proposed budget to the county two months before the end of each fiscal year.
