Description

This bill makes an appropriation of a total of $7,000,000 from the BP Oil Spill Fund (Fund No.

1417) within the Department of Finance to the following entities: (1) Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce; (2) Alabama Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau; (3) Mobile Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau; (4) South Mobile County Tourism Authority; and (5) the Dauphin Island Sea Lab for the purposes of tourism and seafood promotion and marketing in equal annual amounts over a period of four fiscal years beginning with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2012 and ending with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015.
