The bill directs Franklin County severance tax funds aimed at economic development to the Franklin County Development Authority to use for that purpose.
It requires funds from Franklin County's severed material severance tax fund, allocated for economic development, to be distributed to the Franklin County Development Authority. The Authority must use those funds exclusively for economic development. It becomes effective immediately after the governor approves it.
