In Butler County, the sale of draft or keg beer for on‑premises consumption would be allowed for licensed retailers only if the county votes to approve it.
The bill authorizes licensed Alabama ABC Board retailers in Butler County to sell draft beer, on‑premises, previously restricted to other formats, but only after a majority vote by the Butler County Commission approves the change. It applies only within Butler County. It becomes effective immediately after the governor signs it or after it becomes law.
