<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, the salaries and
expenses of employees of the Department of
Veterans' Affairs are required to be paid from the
State General Fund</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would specify that the salaries
and expenses of employees of the Department of
Veterans' Affairs may be paid from the State
General Fund for the fiscal year ending September
30, 2012</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To amend Section 31-5-14 of the Code of Alabama
1975, relating to the Department of Veterans' Affairs, to
authorize rather than require the payment of the salaries and
expenses of employees of the department from the State General
Fund for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2012.
