Title

State employees and education employees, patent proceeds to be shared with state agency or education institution, distrib. of proceeds to State General Fund or Education Trust Fund

Description

This bill would require a state or education employee who has developed an invention, product, process, idea, concept, procedure, innovation, or works of authorship and their associated materials within the scope of his or her employment to share patent proceeds with his or her state agency or education institution.

This bill would require the proceeds of the state agency to be deposited in the State General Fund and would require the proceeds of the education institution to be deposited in the Education Trust Fund.
