Description: Under the existing rules of the Alabama Department of Revenue, an entity that files an application for a motor vehicle dealer's license is required to provide in addition to other information on the application a verifiable landline telephone number.
This bill would allow an entity that files an application with the Alabama Department of Revenue for a motor vehicle dealer's license to provide in addition to other information on the application either a verifiable landline telephone number or a mobile, wireless, or cellular telephone number.
