Description
<p class="bill_description"> Existing law provides for the Alabama State
Defense Force to assist the Alabama National Guard
when the National Guard is called in federal
service or by executive order of the Governor</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would specify the Alabama State
Defense Force would be an augmentation force to the
Alabama National Guard and authorize the Adjutant
General to adopt rules concerning the operation of
the State Defense Force</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To amend Section 31-2-8 of the Code of Alabama 1975,
relating to the Alabama State Defense Force, to specify that
the State Defense Force would be an augmentation force to the
Alabama National Guard and to authorize the Adjutant General
to adopt rules providing further for the operation of the
State Defense Force.
