Title
State funds, investment of, expanding types of investments eligible for state depositories; Sec. 41-14-30 am'd
Description
This bill would amend Section 41-14-30 of the Code of Alabama 1975, to expand the types of bank investment products that are eligible for deposit of State Treasury monies, remove the limit restriction for investment in US Treasury and agency obligations, and allow short-term investment in other instruments.
To amend Section 41-14-30, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to deposit of state funds in qualified public depositories; to expand the types of investments in which the State Treasurer may invest.
