- Commission on Higher Education, required to establish a programmatic review fee schedule for approval of non-Alabama instructional program offerings in state, Sec. 16-5-10 am'd.
- Description
Under existing law, the Alabama Commission on Higher Education is authorized to regulate, and required to provide prior approval for, instructional programs offered by non-Alabama institutions of postsecondary education in the state.
This bill would require the commission to establish a schedule of programmatic review fees for the review of instructional programs proposed to be offered in the state by non-Alabama institutions of postsecondary education and would provide for the deposit of fees collected from non-Alabama institutions of postsecondary education into the State Treasury to the credit of the commission.
