Description
<p class="bill_description"> This bill would establish funding for the
Office of the State Treasurer, and allow the
operations of Treasury Administrative, SAFE, and
Unclaimed Property be managed under one fund</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To amend Sections 35-12-81, 41-14A-12 and 41-14A-14,
Code of Alabama 1975, regarding the administration of
Unclaimed Property and the SAFE Program of the State
Treasurer's Office; and to create the State Treasury
Operations Fund for funding the operation of the State
Treasurer's Office and the administration of Unclaimed
Property and the SAFE Program.
