HB60 extends the life of the Home Builders Licensure Board in Alabama until October 1, 2017 under the Sunset Law.
The bill continues the existence and functioning of the Home Builders Licensure Board and preserves its enabling statutes (Sections 34-14A-1 to 34-14A-18). It follows the Sunset Committee’s recommendation to extend the board through October 1, 2017. The change becomes effective immediately upon the governor's signature (or otherwise becoming law).
