Title: Public Authorities, formed from former military installations, competitive bids, requirement that authority bid contracts removed, Sec.11-92B-24 am'd.
Description: Under existing law, a public authority incorporated pursuant to Chapter 92B of Title 11, Code of Alabama 1975, authorizing the formation of authorities for the development of formed property that formerly comprised a federal military installation, is subject to the competitive bid law in Article 3, Chapter 16 of Title 41, Code of Alabama 1975.
This bill would exempt a public authority formed pursuant to Chapter 92B from this competitive bid law.
