Title
Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Disaster Settlement, distribution of funds to relieve certain debt of the state and remaining funds transferred to the State General Fund
Description

This bill provides for the distribution of payments allocated to the state for economic damages from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Disaster Settlement to the Education Trust Fund

This bill also requires that payments from the settlement be classified as nonrecurring revenues for purposes of calculating the annual Education Trust Fund Appropriation Cap, pursuant to the Education Trust Fund Rolling Reserve Act

To provide for the distribution of payments allocated to the state for economic damages from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Disaster Settlement; and to classify payments received by the Education Trust Fund as "Nonrecurring Revenue."
