Insurance Department, licensing, certain fees for licenses increased, appropriation to Insurance Department Fund for Strengthen Alabama Homes Fund for fiscal year 2016, Sec. 27-4-2, 27-8A-9 am'd.
Description

Under existing law, the Commissioner of Insurance collects certain fees, licenses, and miscellaneous charges for various purposes.

This bill, effective January 1, 2016, would increase certain of those fees, licenses, and miscellaneous charges.

This bill, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2016, would make an appropriation from the Insurance Department Fund, would authorize the transfer of a portion of the appropriation to the Strengthen Alabama Homes Fund, and would make an appropriation from the Strengthen Alabama Homes Fund.
