- Description
Under existing law, when tests or analyses are required to be performed to execute a law or rule of the Department of Agriculture and Industries, the tests or analyses are required to be performed by employees of the department.
This bill would authorize the Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries to delegate the performance of the tests to any laboratory operated by the federal government or any other state government.
