SB102 Alabama 2016 Session
Bill Summary
Under existing law, an alcoholic beverage license may be transferred once in any license year from one location to another upon approval by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.
This bill would permit an alcoholic beverage licensee who holds a valid license to sell alcoholic beverages, including beer in unopened containers for off-premises consumption, and is current on any fees levied by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, to move from one location to another, without having to pay an additional fee, reapply for a license, or be re-inspected by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, if the local governing jurisdiction in which the licensee relocates approves the relocation.
