SB26 continues the Alabama Board of Cosmetology and Barbering in existence and functioning through October 1, 2020 under the Sunset Law.
Keeps the Alabama Board of Cosmetology and Barbering active and regulating the fields of cosmetology and barbering through October 1, 2020. Preserves the related sections of the Alabama Code (34-7B-1 to 34-7B-29) so the board can continue its work. Adopted based on the Sunset Committee's recommendation, with the Legislature concurring. Goes into effect immediately upon passage and the Governor's approval.
