The bill extends the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board’s existence and authority through October 1, 2020.
It continues the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board under the Sunset Law. It preserves the board’s existence and functioning through October 1, 2020, and keeps the related code sections (28-1-1 to 28-11-15) in effect. The Sunset Committee recommended the continuance and the Legislature agreed. It becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
