Room 617 at 00:00:00

The Alabama Legislature commends Corporal Joshua Troop Himes of the Mobile Police Department as a nominee for the 2016 Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement, in recognition of his life-saving actions in 2015.
If enacted, the resolution would formally recognize Corporal Himes as a nominee for the 2016 Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement. It highlights his courage and quick actions during a July 20, 2015 incident that saved a 3-year-old’s life, including providing hospital transport and ongoing support to the child and family. It is a ceremonial recognition and would direct that he receive a copy of the resolution as evidence of the Legislature's admiration.
Delivered to Governor at 9:54 a.m. on April 28, 2016.
