Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, districts for members of the Alabama House of Representatives were redrawn following the 2010 decennial census. A three judge federal court declared certain of those districts unconstitutional</p><p class="bill_description"> This bill would redraw the districts pursuant to the federal court decision</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To provide for the reapportionment and redistricting of the state into districts for the purpose of electing the members of the Alabama House of Representatives at the General Election in 2018, until the release of the next federal census; and to repeal conflicting law. </p>
