Teachers, application fee for teaching certificate, limited to initial application, Sec. 16-23-4 am'd.
Description

Under existing law, a public education employee is required to pay an application fee for the initial application for and each renewal of a teaching certificate

This bill would require that the application fee only be paid for the initial application for a teaching certificate

To amend Section 16-23-4, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to teaching certificates; to require payment of the application fee only for initial application.
