Description: Relating to Jefferson County and the General Retirement System for Employees of the county; to amend Sections 45-37-123.01 and 45-37-123.50, Code of Alabama 1975, to provide that employees of the retirement system are eligible to become members of the retirement system and to provide that a part-time employee who occupies a position in the civil service system of the county would have the option to become a member of the retirement system by filing a declaration with the pension board.
