HB 111 extends the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board’s existence and authority through October 1, 2020 under the Alabama Sunset Law.
The bill renews the board’s existence and ability to regulate onsite wastewater practices through Oct. 1, 2020. It preserves the statutes that create and govern the board (Sections 34-21A-1 to 34-21A-26). It reflects a Sunset Committee recommendation to continue the board, and it becomes effective immediately upon passage and governor approval.
